People come to therapy for many reasons. You might be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure how to move forward. Sometimes the focus is on recent stress or relationship dynamics; other times it’s older patterns of worry, shame, or disconnection that keep showing up. Often it’s a mix. Therapy can be a place to make sense of what’s been happening, understand yourself more fully, and explore what might help.

I work with clients from a wide range of backgrounds, bringing with them a wide range of experiences and concerns. I welcome people both with and without formal diagnoses, and am comfortable and competent working with those navigating a variety of clinical presentations, including complex and co-occurring ones. If you don’t see your experiences reflected below, feel free to reach out to see whether we might be a good fit.

Some reasons people come to see me include:

  • Anxiety
  • Rumination and stuck thought patterns
  • Depression
  • Grief about the state of the world
  • Sadness and fear related to the erosion of gains and protections in this political moment
  • Parenting challenges
  • Complex and difficult family or relationship dynamics
  • Burnout and compassion fatigue
  • Difficulties with executive function and focus
  • Academic stress or uncertainty
  • Feeling lost or purposeless
  • Stress and self-doubt related to work
  • Rejection sensitivity
  • Numbness or disconnection
  • Difficulty relating to others
  • Emotional dysregulation
  • Feeling a lack of belonging

I welcome clients of all genders, and have experience supporting people who are navigating the complexities of identity, including the intersections of race, gender, neurotype, and sexuality. I offer respectful, non-pathologizing support to people who may have been told they are ‘too much’ or ‘too sensitive,’ or who have long felt out of step with others.
